This hateful bigoted sign is proudly displayed off highway 21 E, about 1.5 - 2 miles from the Highway 290 overpass IN PAIGE TX (a short distance from Bastrop), near a local business. Sign encourages readers to vote republican. I doubt I can convince such a close-minded, small person to take down such an offensive display, but I hope that you sign this petition and follow-up with a comment or two as to why you think this display to be rude, bigoted, hateful, and self-centered in the extreme.

The Republican Party endorses the discredited practice of “reparative therapy”:
“Homosexuality is a chosen behavior that is contrary to the fundamental unchanging truths that have been ordained by God in the Bible, recognized by our nation’s founders, and shared by the majority of Texans. Homosexuality must not be presented as an acceptable alternative lifestyle, in public policy, nor should family be redefined to include homosexual couples.”
